I have my oath day after tomorrow. Should I wait till I receive a mail from IRCC about cancellation/rescheduling or should I just assume that the oath won’t happen and plan accordingly?

If you've not heard anything from them, I would assume (at least for the moment) that the oath WOULD happen. According to the head of PSAC (the union), the strike will not happen at all locations at the same time.
My oath is this coming Monday, the 24th, and until I receive an email telling me otherwise, I'm planning for the oath to happen!

I keep seeing oaths being cancelled on other forum pages, and it's frustrating that this is happening at the last minute. These people don't seem to work much, it takes almost two years to process one application, yet they still demand more money and less work.
This is why almost no one likes unions..

You understand in person locations are closed and virtual oats they are not even letting you pass login , my oath is tomorrow morning @ 8:30 and i doubt it will happen , ircc web sites says all ceremony is being reschedule. I took a personal day from work can't even cancel it and I'm a federal Government worker, at this point i have booked vacations 3 weeks in June and even this strike ends ill have to postpone my oath till i come back ,have to use my PR card to come back to Canada.
