Hi, all. My application was received in Jan 2014 and now I am waiting for my PPR after MR and upfront RPRF in Jan 2015. However, I guess my Police Clearance submitted along with my files expired already. Do you think CIC would ask for my Police Clearance again before issuing my PPR?
Since I am working in the USA now, I need to get Police Clearance from USA. However, as shown from FBI's website, the processing time is about 14-16 weeks like below:
"On September 7, 2014, CJIS installed a new IT system. As a result of this installation, we are experiencing delays in processing. Please be assured that each issue is being identified and resolved as quickly as possible, but at this time anticipated processing time for an Identity History Summary is approximately 14-16 weeks. Allow additional time for mail delivery."
Are there anybody who applied for their Police Clearances from FBI recently? Is the processing time so long as above?
Yes, the FBI website says that, but you should be able to get in in a month or so.
I'm an August 2014 applicant, and got mine in July. The website said it'd take 14-16 weeks back then as well, but I got it in a month and half.

That was before Sept '14. This change on FBI side happened starting Sept - hence if anyone has applied after that, it will take longer. I have applied in Nov '14 and even as of today, my CC has not been charged. It will take 14-16 weeks at least.
