We're in the process of getting all documentation together on the checklist specific to her home country to submit for approval.
They give the numbers to the 2 approved agencies for the police check. She has called them, going through the process but they ask for the code to attach to the results to send to the embassy.
I assume they mean the reference we get when the PRV application is submitted?
Is the police check required when the application is submitted or after they request it from her from Colombia?
Ha ha, you have no idea how much I chant that to myself now. This is such a daunting process and there is way too much margin for error. I double and triple check everything and still find items to correct.

Too much, for sure. I agree. From reading others' experiences, it's scary about how people get their application sent back for the smallest thing. Even those with experience here say just to read the instructions and it's straight forward is not true. There are still a lot of things open to interpretation or vague. Thank goodness for forums like this, even though some can be salty with their replies.

It is NOT straight forward. It's nuanced to the nth degree with jargon that only experienced will be able to understand. Like the police check/biometrics "check for your country's requirements" ....
Anyways, we're all in the same boat, some at different stages than others, but that doesn't mean we can't help others who might not have figured it out.
