I also received a tracking number and for 35 days it wrote to me that “Visa application reference number ###########%% is under process at IRCC Office in Mexico City. But now it says “NO RECORDS FOUND” I don’t know what to do. Where should I go for information because I’m already sending documents for the second time to receive a certificate.

My guess is that IRCC has finally sent your information to the Fiscalía and now they don’t have access to your application given that it’s out of their jurisdiction.

I’ve seen other posts where people calls directly to the Fiscalía to get some direct answers. Maybe try that?

60 days I waited 90 and they sent me back the documents from the Canadian embassy in Mexico. Then I asked to extend the time, and they simply gave me permission to re-send the document under the new rules. In total, from the day I received the letter from IRCC to receive the certificate until today, about 5 months have passed.

Hi, I sent in my application a couple of weeks ago to the VAC in mexico city, and finally received an email requesting additional information, including the proof of payment for the package submission.
Since I am in Canada and can not leave, I had a family member go to scotiabank and pay the fees, and I used a photocopy of that receipt in the package when I sent it? How did other people send their proof of payment? So frustrating!

Does anyone here know if there is a specific form we need filled out for finger prints or whether the finger printing agency does this?

VFS received my documents (10 February 2025) for further procedure of obtaining certificate from Mexican police (updated rules from 13 January 2025). Since then I have not received any information about it. Who can tell me where I can apply for information about my certificate and who knows what is the validity period?
