I received passport request, I already send it and my status changed to decision made!


Now time to wait to the passport to get there and come back!

Just an update.

I got my PCC through a friend who lives in Mexico and requested them on my behalf.

Got them translated and sent to Nova Scotia last week , they were received last friday july 31.

I hope they make a decision on my file soon.

I have a question. I am currently waiting for a Mexican PCC as requested by CIC. Because it's Express Entry, will they send the cerificate to me or will they upload it themselves to my electronic file?

Hi Guys,

I got an email from the seccion consular in Mexico saying they sent my police report over to my visa office where my ( I suppose Ottawa) has anyone recived this message? and if so when did they request you to pay the fee and send your passports.

I haven't heard back from them since they sent me the letter to request it myself.

Please let us know as soon as you get any update on ECAS or hear back from your processing centre.

As reference, they received my translated PCCs (that I obtained myself through a relative in Mexico) on July 31st and I have got any news and they haven't updated ECAS.


I thought they having this on their hands they would approve my file and send PPR as I have paid RPRF already.

Alguien me podria decir a que direccion enviaron su paquete por favor, a miguel cervantes o a bosques de chapultepec. He leido mucho relacionado a los tiempos que se tarda; pero, no encuentro a donde lo ha enviado si alguien me manda un mensaje privado o lo postea. Si es posible proporcionar algo asi:

Hola,

I live in Canada and i have an application for PR in process under sponsorship.

I haven't received the letter asking for the police clearance, but I was wondering if it is possible to send my fingerprints and all documents to the Mexican embassy in advance so they can process my police certificate while I wait for the request.

Then, when CIC sends me the letter, can i just mail the letter and they will know they have to send my Police clearance??

No, you can not, you have to wait, and you need to send the documents to the canadian embassy in Mexico. Google : CIC police check Mexico. You will find all the information there.
You will find as well, that there is not other way to do it.
I think we all mexicans are in trouble for this.

Hola a todos!

Les explicare el proceso. Y mi experiencia.

Conmigo se tardaron 6 meses para obtener la constancia de no antecedentes penales esto fue desde enero a julio 2015, cada caso es distinto. los envié a la embajada una vez me los pidió Ottawa. Y ellos así vez los enviaron a Ottawa.

A finales de julio recibí passport request lo envié a el siguente dia y de que les llego a que me Los regresaron se tardo 10 días, 2 días después salí a Estados Unidos y regrese y en el puerto de entrada explique mi situación y muy amablemente me sellaron el pasaporte y firmaron la confirmación de residencia.

El proceso se ha terminado solo falta esperar la tarjeta que llegara en 80 días,
Por lo pronto ya renové el SIN y aplique para la health card aqui en Ontario.
