Police Certificate-India:Multiple Locations within last 10 years- How many PCCs should I get?

Hello,
I have been staying at multiple locations within India in the past 10 years, as part of studies and work.How many PCCs should I get?
As of now I am staying in Delhi for the past 10 months.I got the PCC from Delhi Police. However, the PCC says that I have been here only since 10 months and also gives my present address, for which I have no address proof( Delhi Police allows you to use Husbands ID and Marrg Crtfct as proof of stay). My permanent address as per passport is different. Is this okay

No it is not sufficient. Don't get a PCC from each local police department. You only need to get one PCC from a PSK and it will suffice for the whole country. Good luck!

Sorry for my ignorance, but, what is a PSK? Is it by any chance passport seva kendra?

I have stayed in different states in India, but got my PCC from my nearest PSK( Passport Seva Kendra). And I got my PCC on the same day.

Oh.. Can I get PCC from any( nearest )PSK? I thought I would have to go to my Place of Issue/Permanent Residence.. ?

Oops... Literally for me both are the same now. But I have read that ppl getting PCC from the current place too, when you have a proof to submit, something like Bank passbook with current address and letter from Employer. You can see all the required information in PSK site for PCC

My husband has stayed in Delhi only so far. So for him, Delhi Police issued PCC will suffice right? No need to go for a PSK hopefully?

Even if you get Delhi Police PCC, I believe you have to get from PSK too. PCC from PSK is very important as it is the main document mentioned in the CIC. Police PCC is an additional Document.
I got both from PSK and Police station.
