Police certificate from Saudi Arabia

hi professor and to others over there. im a live in caregiver and will be applying for my PR on june, i read all your sentiments in getting PCC from saudi arabia, i started securing documents for myself too.since January 2010, my question is, Is it ok to submit to the Saudi consulate the letter request for Police Certificates and authorization to Release Information, from CIC without the signature of the Case Officer? Will the Saudi embassy honor this one...

For me i did not have any official letter from CIC asking for the Saudi police clearance, i just printed out the approval letter sent by the CIO via email containing my file number and instructing me to send full documents to Buffalo and it was ok with the saudi embassy. (since it was sent by email, it did not have any stamp, signature, or even being written on the CIC letterhead).

By the way, i have just checked the website of the saudi embassy in Ottawa, apparently the have done some changes in the way of getting the saudi police clearance by adding more options, so that you can appoint someone in saudi arabia to get it for you after going through some procedures (and i think this way might be faster than applying to the embassy), or you can apply for it in the saudi embassy in Ottawa:

There are 2 options now:

Option (A) (obtaining the saudi police clearance on your own)

Option (B) (applying through the saudi embassy in Ottawa)

For me i have done option (B) because the other option was not available when I applied so it took 5 months to get it from the embassy.
