If ITA is received, I will be getting the remaining $12000 from father or sibling in the form of notarized gift deed.
Is this acceptable or not? Has any one done this?
6 months bank statements will show this spike but I will also have the gift deed to prove it. Whats the take here?
Yes it is perfectly acceptable , you can do it like this , many have done it you just have to possess the correct documentation, for a gift deed the documents are not the same in the case you are inland or Outland.
