Dears,
My brother is going to gift me a certain amount. I will get a notarized gift deed for this.
My question is, should i provide anything from my brother's account ? As in to prove that in fact it his his account that sent the amount ?
Such as a transaction log from his bank account or anything ? Or does the official notarized gift deed suffice?
Thanks!
You will have to provide the receipt of the transaction from he's account to yours.
You do NOT have to provide his bank statement.

Thanks! Yes of course i will not get his bank statement
So i'll get the receipt of the transaction from his account (sender) and mine (receiver) since this was an online transfer, and attach it with the notarized gift deed letter. Cheers!
Gift deed from real siblings is accept by CIC, right?
Yes. It is.
Any case you remember for whom a gift deed from a sibling was accepted?
No, I don't know of any sure case. But I'm 99.9% sure it would be accepted.
I'm sending messages and trying to start a conversation with people who did submit a gift deed from a sibling to know their experiences, but nobody replies back
Yea, I can see your messages everywhere.
I hope you find the reply you need.
