PNP Route in obtaining a work permit rather than LMO then Work Permit

Hi everyone and especially to BCguy, Leon and PMM,

I would like to ask for your opinion regarding PNP. Is it possible for an employer to apply for a PNP without an LMO. I just wanted to know coz an employer is interested in hiring me but then we need to wait for a couple of months before we can apply for an LMO.

1. Can an employer apply for a PNP directly for me instead an LMO then work permit?

He can apply for an AEO for you and use that for direct PNP. An AEO is supposed to be easier to get than an LMO but it may take him longer to see you arrive to work for him.

I am already here in Canada and currently working for a different employer. Does that make any difference?
