Its nice to be back in this forum which helps me a lot ,here i am in winnipeg and itsmy 1st anniversarry actually today in canada, been busy with work just want to ask some information as we are getting ready applying my sis-in-law here my questions are;
if the parents is in dubai and 3kids are in philippines how the processing goes? all application shall be done in dubai?
today our waiting times has come to its end and we received our passports back . this forum was a great help through our waiting time and thanks from all those who have shared they knowledge and experience in here..

I am waiting for our passports too. Did your eCAS change to DM before you received them? Our eCAS still says In Process and it's been 10 days already. Appreciate your response.

thank you.. first of all im hoping that you get your respected passport very soon and answer to your question yes it was changed to DM after 10 days and we received our PP a bit late because of some error.. usually you get a DM on ECAS after your visas have been issued and then you receive your PP back

I checked eCAS and status is now Decision Made. We have submitted our passports in person in ADVO 10days ago and now eCAS says DM. Is this something positive?

but Guys who is the responsible for changing the Ecase status ADVO or Ottawa Canada , did anyone notice the time it changed i mean was it within the ADVO working hours or Within Ottawa working hours

I'm guessing the VO that process your application change the stats on your ECAS most likely the visa officer that doing your application.. for example when medical results are sent back to the VO it change to MR so it must be the VO

Congratulations on your 1st anniversary in Canada!
I believe that the processing will be in Dubai/ADVO but the medicals for their chidren can be/will be done in the Philippines since they are residing in the Philippines and the children's VO will be CEM. This is just my guess as I was tempted to reply on your question and message!
Im sure you will get a reply from some of the Seniors here and those who have experienced the same case as to your in-laws.
On a different note, may I ask how was your Job hunting? After how many months after landing in Canada did you find the Job you are in right now? Im sure you may have find other Jobs before but didnt accept some of it and choosed the best or a better one! Are you living with your relatives or you have your own place now?
May I ask, how Long did you work in the Middle East before immigrating to Canada with your Family?
