I am Oct 23, 2017 (31 months)

No updates since Jan 21, 2020
Application transferred to Calgary office Aug, 2019 and Ecas changed to application received.
Application changed back to in process on Feb 4, 2020 after submitting additional docs requested on Jan 21, 2020.

But in the past two days my partner, (dependants) have been getting some mails (one from Alberta PNP and another from Canada Foodstamp) on her mails. Lol

I got an email from ainp too about covid 19 update

I called to Ircc agent, I was told everything is passed but the decision hasn't been made..it was delay due to Covid he says..it could be in 2,3 days or in 3 months that what he said but he saw that 2 days back they opened my file and working on it..

According to agent, ( 1(888) 242-2100) they opened my file on May 6,2020 and they were working on my file and said eligibility, criminality and security passed.

Did you apply for work permit extension? My work permit will expire by the end of May, and wondering if I can apply for BOWP.

Question, can I apply for BOWP or ill just stick to a closed work permit
