What about your spouse? Does he/she needs to do medical or not?

we both received the exemption email today.

Also did u travel outside canada in last couple of years ??
I don't know about the timeline and I don't think customer service can help as they always said the same thing.

After our last travel to the states, we were asked to provide additional documents at the end of 2019 and that was the one last time IRCC contacted us.
Just a quick update on my AOR 2018 November application: I just received an email from IRCC saying that I am no longer required to complete an additional Immigration Medical Exam (IME) . I guess they just extended my Medical.
Good. At least you don't need to spend another $1K for this humiliating procedure. I also passed medical examination in May 2019, and my dependents passed in August 2020.
@Elnara5995 What is your office? How many people in the file?
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has put in place a temporary public policy that exempts some low-risk, in-Canada foreign nationals from having to complete an additional immigration medical exam as part of their application for permanent residence or for a permanent resident visa
