Hi, My file is SINP Paper base. Got nomination & applied for PR visa at IRCC. (outside Canada)
AOR: 10th May 2019
Medical & Bio-metric: Nov.-19 Passed
PRR: Waiting

Query:
1. at online portal, my estimated completion date was 10th nov. 2020 but on aug.-2020(when time laps reached to 82%) it got changed to 10th dec.-2020 & time laps reduced to 78%. What does it mean? & what should i do.
2. what IRCC can expect from me (either can give direct final decision or can ask for any other doc. request)
3. How much time IRCC can expected to take to give final decision.
3. Should i use GCMS or wait only..

Hi, congrats first. Its generally written as 15-18 months and now it 19th month form aug.-2020. Do not lapse time & complete the application package & submit to IRCC ASAP. It would take around 1 year & more for final decision.

No one knows the right answer, go to the web form and ask ircc directly or call them

You are ahead of time for most of us, this is really unfortunate that IRCC extended timelines for everyone by 1 Month. I cant advise you on GCMS as I am novice but keep on sharing your progress. All the Best!

Submitted paper based application = April 2019
Biometric = June 2019
Medical passed = September 2019
Pre Arrival Letter = October 2019
Ielts Expired = March 2020
New Ielts result submitted = Aug 2020
Status = Background check in progress since Oct 2019. application timeline 100 % (extended for one month in July 2020 and again completed in Aug 2020 to 100 %)

Please guide me what would be the next steps, can I get Passport request soon or it will take months and months again. I tried to contact immigration through web form, agents always reply information is forwarded to relevant department. But relevant department did not reply. I am resident of KSA and citizen of Pakistan.

I believe you will get response “because of Covid-19.... balabala...” if you ask anything to IRCC now.

Just wondering, why you have 100% time bar, does it suppose to be Oct if you applied in April 2019. I have same timeline and still waiting as you.

Thanks for reply. Actually, it was July 2020 initially and reached 100 %, then they changed to Aug with 90 % completion, now it is again 100 %. Just a question, is it a good idea to call them as well.
