My end date has changed from 8th of January to 8th of Fabruary

Same as mine. It changed from 13th Dec to 13th Jan 2021

I have applied for PNP paper-based process and I got my application received at CPC Sydney in Aug 2019. Until then I didn’t hear anything from them. They also extended my estimated processing time from feb 2021 to mar 2021. Does anyone know of if they gonna take this whole time to process or it could happen faster? I am thinking of switching to EE entry.

I got the PAL in January 2020. But I have tried calling but I am not able to reach them.

Then you are on the same stage as most June/July/aug applicants.

Sure EE maybe an option, but then you will have difficulties with biometrics as well.

BTW, I was thinking about EE as well, but after talking with multiple immigration lawyers I decided that better off just wait.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, that's too bad that everyone is having the same problem with biometrics. Have you got your PAL? Which stage are you in at the moment?

Do you think EE applicants also have to wait longer than the usual processing time?

I got PAL in December. Just security not started. GCMS shows “ready for PS”.

EE in general is fast. Just now you cannot do biometrics, and our paper based application is biometrics exempt. Also in particular cases EE can take years as well.

As applicant who waits for any movements with my application for year and 2 months I would say it a very good sign. Something is happening!

I passed medical exam for my work permit before applying PR. Before new year I had note in my cic account that I passed it for my PR application, then it disappeared.
