if someone decides for doing upfront meds you should be smart about the timing. The only case when upfront meds can delay your application is when you do your upfront meds and then within days you get the mr from CIC. I have seen this happening to some people and their applications get delayed because when you go for upfront meds the officer assigns a UMI specific to you. When CIC issues you a MR they also assign you a UMI. Now when you do your meds it takes around 2 weeks to go into CIC system and if you get a MR before that you now have 2 UMIs assigned to you. Now the Visa Officer will have to clear up the mess you made and it will delay your application by 14 to 18 months.
You are just giving CIC chances to screw over your application. It will slow down process anyway.

I completely agreed with you and thank you for all your details explanation..... lets see ... i hope that for 3 to 4 weeks I should not be getting any request... my panel physician told that within a week they will submit to CIC. I already filled webform by attaching my E-Medical Receipt which should be there in a week too.
Hi.All.. Can anyone suggest... What would be the benefit of ordering GCMS notes. Would I be able to track the different phases completion of my application ? If I request my friend to order it for me, would the access to GCMS notes, be going to his email..?

Hi..nothing is changed as of now its still application Received how about you,i dont think we will be getting anything before the completion of 18 months time mine is completing on 15 Oct 2020
