PNP PR - October-November-December 2016 Applicants

SAME HERE SEPT 19 APPLICANT, BGIP YESTERDAY, BUT PPR NOT YET..

DO you have any additional doc review in your account ? R u inland ?

I have a dilemma here need your help guys. Our passports are valid until early 2019, but last december we decided to renew our passports on an embassy roadshow. It takes 2-3 months before they send a new one, and until then the old passport is still valid. Now last feb 22 we recieve ppr and sent passport last monday and receieved in ottawa yesterday. Now when I arrive home, i saw in our mailbox a notice from canada post to pick up passport since no one is home, I’m sure it’s our new passport! Now i don’t know if I should call cic and send our new passports or just wait for them to send back our old passports which is valid still by right! Need advice here

Its better to stay with old passport as u said its valid till 2019. Get ur visa nd get to border and get ur pr. Why hastling for passport exchange. U will be getting pr card anyway after so then it vont matter whether u got ur pr on old passport or new passport since passport number stays same. They will just give u new passport copy thats it.
