I see ghost update in my file as in current status "application update" in Friday but no mail or message in gc key. why late and when Inform me? can anyone tell me.
Unfortunately, there are no clear processes for how and when things happen. Each person has a different story and experience. We just have to wait and hopefully things go smoothly. If you passed the police check and passed medicals you have nothing to worry about. I know the wait is long and exhausting.
A question for those who are planning to land at an IRCC office or already landed:
What if my Work Permit has expired? Should I just bring it to the interview anyways? Is this a problem?

To those who landed recently at Canada-US borders;
I’ve just found out flagpole isn't welcome in Ontario borders. It seems that there's management issues between IRCC and Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA). My friend had uncomfortable experience in Kingston border last year - they were unpolite to him. They asked nonsense questions like why you’re coming all the way from Toronto to this border; you just want to give us more work!!
One of below articles suggest this behavior isn’t personal; CBP officers are just expressing their frustration with the process. Just question; Is this equivalent to our frustration of being waiting 28+ months to finalize our application ? I’m already loaded with great level of frustration and I don’t want to mess up my day at the border – as this day should be considered a special day in my life. If IRCC and CBSA has issue between them then they should fixed it away from us. In plain text; we are taxpayers and they are being denied services.

I have a question. I received the ready for pr email but my spouse is outside canada so she cant send her passport to ottawa, so i have sent a web inquiry form to cic inquiring where my wife is supposed to send her passport and her separate instructions.
Does anybody have any idea how long it takes for them to send another email for my spouse.
