As I know, you should have at least 6 months in your passport when you landing, mine will expire in Sep,2018, I have renewed and updated to CIC.

How did you update CIC of your renewed passport?

We got medical call on December 19, 2017
We did our medical on December 22, 2017
In mycic account it's showing "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam."
But
in my ecas account it's showing nothing about my medical request/status?

Is it normal?

Same here. I got my medical request on Jan 09 and i am done with my medical on Jan 10, but still the ECAS status was never updated since September.

Why eligibility is not passed yet?

Have you check in your gcm notes? I had mine October and it says eligibility passed but on gckey it still shows reviewing of eligibility.

I think you need to check immigration lawyer for your unique case.

Sorry to hear what you are going through.. i think CIC goes through Excessive demand threshold. If you are determined to be over the amount which is 6000 (dont know exact figures) then you are considered as an excessive demand on healthcare. I agree with one member that you have to seek advise through an immigration lawyer as they know better what should be your next step.

The lawyer will advise you if there is any chance for appeal.

Sorry to hear what happened on you. I dont know how you get HIV, but i can share some news with you. There was a case posted on a Chinese forum in Edmonton a couple of days ago: a Chinese lady sponsered her father for immigration, and her father found out is HIV+, however her immigration lawyer convinced immigration officer that if her father's application get denied and he has to go back to china, he will be discriminated in China, and she is able to pay all the money he need for treatment in Canada (i dont know if HIV treatment is free in Canada). Surprisingly, her father's application got approved in the end.

No, I did not call CIC.
One of my friend did medical with me and his medical result showing passed.
He applied just one week before me and we got medical call at the same day.
I don't know what cic doing
