Happy for you.. But what does MR mean? is it medical request? when do you need to get our medicals done? I believe you undergo medical exams after ITA, don't you? Does CIC request you after you apply? Sorry about so many questions!!
Thanks

It took a full day for the four of us (my wife and I plus our 2 kids)...
Aside from the MR email instructions, here are my strong advice:
- ready your kids immunization records (should bear the children's full name as written in the passport and the MD's lic #)
- bring previous medical records (x-Ray films, results, etc.)
- bring passports (original and 2 sets of photocopies)
- bring passport size photos for each family member (ready at lest 4, although our test clinic only requested 3)
- be ready for some extra expenses (such as probable vaccination/ immunization required by canada)

I already received my medical request last March 11 and they also requested for a valid NBI Clearance Certificate. They provided me 2 options how to submit the original form (NBI cert).
1.) Visa Application Centres (VACs)- for applicants residing in the Philippines
(they include a link for vfsglobal website for more info)
2.) Courier
Embassy of Canada, Visa Section Level 6,
Tower 2, RCBC Plaza
6819 Ayala Avenu
Makati City 1226
Philippines
Since I'm residing in the Philippines, is anyone here had an experience sending documents to VACs (vfsglobal)? I became confused when I visit the website because it shows that there are fees I need to pay. I thought that it should be for visa processing once I submit my passport. Is there an address where I can submit my nbi cert in person? Or can I just send it thru a courier with the address provided? Sorry for all the questions. I just want to make sure that I'll submit it in the fastest/safest way possible.
^ Hi Anne, just send the NBI clearance directly to the Embassy, so you will avoid the extra fees from VFS. I did this for my relatives a few times, direct to Canadian Embassy Manila at RCBC Plaza via LBC overnight delivery, and both were successfully received. Be sure to cite your application number.
Only courier is allowed for direct sending to CEM, they do not accept walk-in/drop-offs.
However, once your passport is requested for visa stamping, only VFS submission is allowed.
