Upfront medical: June 2017.

i don't think think it says anything about background check in automated response. you can just see it through you mycic account.

My medical says: You passed the medical exam. I did upfront medical in June 2017 so should not be an issue. My ecas status still remain same (In process). No DM and PPR yet. waiting...

I got my passport back with immigrant visa on it, but CIC has also returned my both photos which I sent in the envelope. Is there something wrong in it? Please answer if someone got like the same. Thanks.

That is normal. When did you get approved online and when did your return tracker activated?

Yes, I got the confirmation of PR in a letter. One of the photo is attached in the form and second photo was loose in the envelope. There is no instruction regarding why they returned it. Instruction says I have to do the landing on border, that’s all with the letter.

I sent my passport on 14th Feb, they received the passport last Friday - 16th Feb, return tracker activated yesterday - 22nd Feb and got approval on MyCIC on 22nd, received the passport back today. Don’t you think they have to keep the photo for PR card?

I think you will give the photos to the officer on the border when you do the landing. They will submit an application for your PR card and take your photo.

Keep calling them. I've seen a bunch of other folks in this forum who got DM but didn't receive PPR because CIC messed up and sent the PPR to the wrong address. Some of the Call Center agents are probably just lazy and don't bother checking what's actually going on with your application properly

It is a beautiful cold day in Canada! I got BGIP & PPR today!
October 31st 2016 applicant inland. Best of lucks for those who are still waiting, I know the waiting is a bitch, but hang in there!
I have a bit of a question here to those who have already sent the passport and got it back: Did you have issues sending the Annex A? I am asking because I was sent the e-mail for PPR but no attachment for Annex A, instead it was pasted. I have no option to edit it, so I am assuming we just printing as it is with the whole e-mail? and do we fill it hand written?
