maybe it depends for every applicants the origin of country, or any travel history, that will male the background check longer, i dont know it is just my opinion,

Do you have applyfor PR Card and how long will it take ?

The PR Card is automatically applied for as soon as you land. The officer who attended to me said I should get it within the next 8 weeks (2 months).

hi..how long did the whole process from sending the passport to having it back took? Also, i heard that we can go the immigration office to do landing instead of flag-poling...

I got PPR , just wondering what is DM and BGIP? and when I check my cic account how come it still says 'we are processing your background check..." I thought once I got PPR that means background check is done.

DM is decision made and BGIP is background check in process.

It seems like CIC is not updating our mycic accounts whenever they start a new process. But usually PPR is the final step of the whole PR applications.
