A bit of good news for me!
My husband did second medical. It had just updated to "passed" on GCKEY today.
But most importantly, his work permit application was approved! Now he can join me in Canada. This is the most important thing. As long as PPR comes sometime in 2019, we're good!

approval of application is totally different from decision made on an application! You should wait. Once you passed your medical, it means your application has been approved. That's the thing that an agent told me 4 months ago.

My MP launched an inquiry and CIC told them. I also called CIC, and they told me the same thing.

How do I submit "Acknowledgement of Receipt" for Bridging Open Work Permit? Can I just provide a copy of those two emails from IRCC which has Application Number for Permanent Residence appication?

I called CIC and asked whats taking so long. 23 months almost. She said she doesnt know. Still in security check. Call back in 6 months. I am speechless! This is my 3rd call to them in last 8 months... I am devastated!

I submitted a copy of CIC's e-mail and it worked
