I don't know how Cic works today I received email from my immigration officers request to do reassessment medical because my medical expired on October 2015 .when I check my Cic account it shows medical not needed at this time and my background check it is still in progress .
Any body has logic explain about what is going on :-\ :

Just a question, when you send your passport to CIC, did you include the old one in which your visa was attached? just thinking that they need to cancel that and change it to immigrant? thanks in advance

Do they usually ask for another medical exam after one year?
My medical expired on Feb 2016 and they extended it by themselves.

Could you please share your thoughts, why do you think they delayed your application process. Did your security check take too long??? What did they tell you when you called them?
Do you have any idea, why do they ask from some applicants retake med exam after expiration, but some applicants get automatic extension like you? Are you a single applicant or with dependants?

hi! if you're inland, they will automatically extend your medical like what happened to me, but both my dependents did medical re assessment,
