Hi All


I submitted OPNP application from India in Dec 2015 and in June 2016 i received an e-mail saying the demand draft expired and had requested for the new DD, which i sent immediately. I have not received any communication after that, anyone has gone through this? How much more time you think it could take for me to receive ITA.

Hi Gayathri

I had submitted my OINP application on 27th Jan 2016. I too received an email on 17th August 2016 stating that the application has been deemed complete and the DD I had attached on Jan has been expired and they had demanded for a fresh one. Following which I resubmitted a new one and they issued a receipt for the same within two weeks.

But due to unforeseen delays they haven't yet updated the status of the expired DD. I have been following with them constantly but I have not yet received any communication from their behalf. I have triggered a complaint as well in the CIC portal.

Kindly update me if you have any inputs. All the best for your profile.

I feel like we were treated so unfair..mine is now on its 21 months, I contacted MPs but she said she can only contact CIC on NOv. 21..

I am ainp applicant and got document request on Feb 2016 still no news. I did my medical on May 2015 which is expired now. Do I need to do the medical again? anyone knows how long more need to wait!!!!!

R u single applicant or do u have any dependents?
if u and ur dependent's inside canada cic will extend u r medicals.If anybody outside canada cic will request medical again.

me and my dependents also had medicals on May 2015, then my son was asked to do medical again on July 2016 and my common law had his re medical on August 2016, since then no updates from CIC regarding my application
