Online tool status and ECAS is the same thing. It’s called E Client Application Service (I think). Just go to Google and type “CIC ECAS” and click the first link. It’ll give you an application status of your file. (I don’t have the link right now)

DM is decision made.
PPR is passport request

It happens. Some get them both together. Some have to wait for a few days for the PPR email. Don’t worry

i have been waiting for 4 weeks ...... still no email

Hi Everyone!!

I finally have my chance to share my time line with you guys so happily.

I got DM and PPR yesterday afternoon after 17-month waiting and I feel I am little lucky since there are still many of you waiting. I believe you all have good news soon!!!

I am sharing my time line and will leave this forum praying for those who still waiting. God bless you all and Canada!!

2. Oct.20, 2017-AOR
3. July 4,2017- Medical requested
4. July 8, 2017-medical done
5. Feb 19,2019-DM&PPR

I have a immigration lawyer whom my company hire for me so I do not know about any date for Ghost update thing.

Medical Passed: 30 April 2018
Pre-arrival Email: 31 May 2018

No update after that. My concern is that I have a friend who has exactly the same timeline and he got his PPR a few days ago and I also read that someone on this forum with a similar timeline (application received: 2nd Nov 2017) has also got the PPR and I haven't received any update. I called CIC and they said everything is in order and they are obliged to give me a decision by June 2019 according to the 19 month processing time.

Should I be worried about this? I have my work permit until August 2020.

The rare ones who do receive their PPRs and DMs despite being much later than the trend are only lucky. So don’t go by the minority. You’ll just have to wait.
