Sorry guys, i am not here to complain, I just felt this may be the best place that I feel comfortable to talk about my story. I was so stressed out for the past week after I was told to be laid off my position, and my boss agreed to keep my position until I get my PR. Then I was told by manager that boss wants to give me 31 hours a week which is still full time(used to be 37.5 h a week), and my wages will be decreased to minimum wage. Now another issue came up that my work permit is going to expire soon, I need their help with my work permit extension. But seems like boss doesn't want put permanent and full time on my job offer. Boss said will get a couple of phone calls before make any decisions. I dont know who they are going to call hopefully not the government. I thought my boss' biggest concern is that I will come back to them and get them in trouble because the conflict between the contract they are going to offer and they actually going to offer. I don't know what to do. so hopeless.

What about restrictions of your work permit? If none you can apply for Bridging open work permit
I have it right now. Like my closed work permit was for 6 months, so I needed to extend it.I still work for the same employer, but if something happens I can find a new employer.

Big confusion.....after medical passed n even in last stage of file how come they mention Eligibility failed in GCMS..
Just got GCMS notes..

Application is in process.. NVDO

Eligibility: Failed
Criminality: In process
security:
Medical: Passed n Expired already

Didn't received any mail n ask for any clarification about Eligibility..n not even mention any comment in GCMS.
so can i mail n ask them to give details of eligibility failed.

I don't think it means anything. It's just 1 year mark since your AOR. Mine is Sep 18, 2018, but still nothing yet. lol

I am In dilemma guys.

I sent my passport yesterday for a getting stamped. I don’t know that when it’s gonna be back. I am planning to go to India in January around 11th.

If i go to landing as soon as i gget my Passport back , is it enough time to get PR Card before i leave for India

It usually takes around 45-60 days to arrive , In most cases(people whom I know) got before 60 days. So I think you should be fine.

Did you get a pre arrival letter anytime?
