who knows, as CIC works in a mysterious way, but I just can tell you that June and July applicants are still waiting for PPR so.....I guess 3/4 months at least?

and they emailed me on july 4th for additional docs, so i mailed to the office by ups (bcuz i renew my passport too) on july 13th. Why mycic keeps sending me msg to update additional docs that i sent already???? They don't know that they recived it ???? What should i do??? ...:'(

There is no evidence that upfront medical speeds up the process. It only increases CIC people's clerical error because it deviates from their standard procedure. People are impatient and panicky.
Though if one already has a medical done for other application should be able to use it as upfront medical for PR application as well, so that you wouldn't need spend money on another one.
Well your myCIC should show in documents like "We need an additional doc...". That won't change. But if your Backgroundcheck hasn't change, then I'd suggest you call CIC or send them query thru CSE asking if they still need the documents or have they received it....
