Came to hear from few of my friends who are August 2015 inland applicants that they have not received medical request yet. If I am right I have seen someone from September 2015 who received medical.
I wish .... I would get the MR too...background history form with the gap of two months of my spouse ....resubmitted so as per their request ...sent them via CSE so far no response just the system base reply .....any idea??
I noticed that ppl getting PPR in normally two to maximum three months from the day they get Medical Request.
So like if u r September Applicant then u r going to get Medical this Friday (and this is ur tenth month since application submitted)
And then it will take another 2 to 3 months to get PPR.
So in total ppl are getting PPR in 12 months.
Honestly, this is my thorough research !!

I did not put anything in the box "PLACE OF BIRTH"
IELTS = don't select anything
IELTS NUMBER = I typed 000000
Date of IELTS TEST = Date of my application submitted (SEPTEMBER 21)
I saw my back ground check "IN PROGRESS" I submitted all my PCC's last month after I got my reminder email from CIC on April 22. however I did not do my upfront medical yet because when I phoned CIC they told me wait for the request, it will not make any application faster or something, will just stored in their system while they are conducting background and security check.

My BG checks are still "not needed at this time". OMG I don't know how long that gonna take now. But I don't know why It says in general that we have not received an application for pr. Lol

They may not started your BG check yet.. ignore the definition of "Not needed at this time" it is just for general aspect of processing definition. Your PR filed with AOR/file number.. so nothing to worry about. however please be ready to submit again new police clearances, happens to me.
Have you ever received a reminder email in Apr or May? I got my file number in Jan too, but haven't even receive the reminder email while other applicants did. So just want to know if I'm the only one....
