Did you apply on August 14, 2016 and get the medical examination request on January 17, 2017?

Are you a paper-based applicant or Express Entry? For paper-based, getting medical request in such a timeframe is amazingly fast. Thats why we are all surprised.

Also, inland means applying from inside Canada while outland means applying from outside Canada.
