I got the ME on May 1st.I check it this morning.

April 6th applicant.
Everything is done. Its been more than 16 months so i called CIC and this is what i been told.
My file is completed. Back ground check is done. Note on my file left that there is no more documents or information required. Now just need some one to do final review. It could take 1 day to 4 months.
Like for real.

I called CIC just now and the lady on the phone advised me the same that my application is completed and now i have to wait.. I told her that my application, B/G and final decision still shows in progress on online ac, why it hasn't change and when will it be updated? She said she doesn't know.. There is nothing she can do and i can't do anything except waiting.. This is crazy.. They know that a lot of people are calling and asking them so maybe they have come up with a standard verbiage now..

BG and final decision won't change to complete until you receive ppr email and send your passport over. That's how it works, don't rely on the status, just wait for ppr email.

Just called CIC and talked to an agent. She said everything was passes and nothing pending. Application has is waiting to be approved and send passport request. But she could not tell when will I get passport request email. What a loop....

Hi I am May 9, 2016 applicant. I got med request on May 2, 2017. Did my Med Exam on 9th of May.

I'm just wondering why they are not updating the standard processing times on the cic website. It is clearly not 16 months anymore. It would be nice to know the real processing time and we can wait after that.
