Guys, my BG just changed to in progress , apr 7 applicant

I renewed my passport before getting MR. I sent them a copy of the new passport, also submitted it through Case Inquiry online.

Medical done: April 7th 2017
BG changed to in process: July 27,2017

I've seen couple of more people in this thread with application date until June 10, have gotten their MR too...

oh really? Maybe I overlooked. I am June 13 applicant. Still no MR tho

Hello!

Yea, it looks like I was very lucky. Sure, I will ask.

1) My background had been in progres untill decision made since May, 5 2016. I had a criminal issue. Actually it was misunderstanding in translation, as showed a GCMS notes.

Even now my Background still processing...so you need to check only your ECAS status. You will see DM up there. And Background will be approved as soon as visa and COPR be printed.

2) June, 29 Decision Made
JULY, 5 Passport Reguest

Untill today I am still waiting for PP back. There is a huge backlog as well.

Nope, still saying "Not applicable" for mine (Apr 13 applicant as well), so disappointed... I will keep checking, maybe it will change soon.

We are left behind for BG!! Hope we get our BG updated soon!!

I don't know what's going on but seems like a majority of April 2016 applicants are facing delays. First week April 2016 applicants almost complete 16 months next week. Why CIC?! Everytime they launch a new program such as a the express entry this time, then don't give a proper closure to the existing programs like PNP paper applications.
