CIC received my documents on Dec the 1st, 2014
Acceptance of my application on April 27th, 2015
Medical Exam requested on April 29th, 2015
Medical Exam completed on May 12th, 2015
RCMP fingerprints requested on July 16th, 2015
RCMP fingerprints mailed out on August the 7th, 2015
I am currently in Canada and honestly I don't really know what progress was made on my file.
PR and RPRF paid in front once I mailed my application in November 2014...when I check my application status online it mentions the following: We received your application for permanent residence on December 1, 2014.
Actually I didn't! I had filed a new generic application by beginning of April as I got married, they asked my spouse to do a medical on 19th of May, which she was able to do on 25th of May!
The only update I received from CIC was by email for RCMP fingerprints on July 16th. I went through all of this thread pages, I'll call CIC this Thursday and double check with them.
Just wanted to bump this back up before it drops off the front page. Looks like it's a slow news week again for us poor December guys, and we don't even seem to be getting the benefits of an updated ECAS account that some of the 2015 applicants are getting.
Hi, I applied for my PR on 20th Dec 2015 afer recieving SINP. Got Medical Request on 3rd May 2015. Medical was recieved on June 10th ( CPC Ottawa) On 22nd July i recieved an email request for the pr fee...which i paid the same day & attached the recipet and emailed them. does anyone know how long does it take after that? it would be highly appreciated! thanks

The December group is all pretty much in the same boat right now. A lot of us got that reminder email on the same day, and nobody's heard anything since. It's funny, some of the other month groups are getting a few bits of news here and there, but for December it's been nothing nothing nothing and then BAM everyone gets news at the same time.
Hi Tushky.. I believe you fall under the EE system and for that reason your timelines and processing timeframes would be a little different since a majority of us here have applied before Dec 2014. That said, you should be getting your medical request e-mail from CIC any day now. As for me, I am a Dec'14 applicant and I received my medical request 2 days after I received my application number but then again you need to understand that every application is different and CIC processes them based on various factors.. The bottomline? There is no single definite answer for your question..

If u notice then Since feb 11 nobody got their MR. . I guess you guys will get by end of aug or 1st week of sept.

I have got today e-mail from CIC - Additional Information Required (this is second e-mail). I must send police certificate because I think last police cert. was expired and SCHEDULE A. It is strange because I sent this in my application and I never left canada
