My 2 cents are that you should probably send them to the address they provided you with. Make copies and scan and send them as well with your other documents? Could be worth while calling CIC and asking since they are saying something different in the email compared to the official information on the website.
Maybe call again and ask very specifically about whether a change of address since originally applying would trigger the need for an updated Schedule A. And if you have no luck with that, then yes, I would email them.
You are probably right. I updated my address and changed my employer a few months ago and got an email to send an updated Schedule A. So, I am guessing that's the reason.
1) Do we need to send copies of passports even if they are valid for the next 12 months or more ? Our passports are all valid for more than 6 months at least from Dec 2015.
2) While submitted my application i had completed the Schedule A form with details of 10 years prior to date of submission ( i.e. Dec 2014). We moved homes in July 2015, which has already been updated in ECAS. Am i still required to re-do the Schedule A form from start , adding my current address, since it only required 10 years prior to application date ?
Called up CIC call center and the agent was as confused as me, and asked me to send an e-mail !
I might just ignore the letter and wait for them to get back to me in case they need anything.
please read care fully they clearly mention that ......Prior to submitting your application
MISSING SCHEDULE A INFORMATION
If you have a copy of the application you submitted please review the application in particular the schedule A Background information. Section 8 Personal History and Section 12 Addresses must cover the 10 year history prior to your submitting your application or beginning at the age of 18 whichever is the most recent. If you left gaps in the dates and they do not cover the entire period send in a newly completed Schedule A to provide complete information. If there are gaaps in your personal history or gaps in your address history your application will be delayed.
Lots of people in the other month threads have had their ECAS page change to show both their mailing address and also now their home address. Anyone in the December group had this happen to them? Mine still only shows mailing address, but my home address is the same so maybe mine won't change.
Not sure it actually means anything, but hey, we're clinging to every little thing CIC do!
Today my home address is shown in the ECAS. What interesting is that they put my previous home address although I notified them abt address change. I am a December 15 applicant.

Hey Quink,
On my ECAS status page it shows only "CURRENT HOME ADDRESS" which is same as i changed after moving in new house, but not sure about mailing address as it won't shown anywhere on status page.

Application received --> AOR (EP number) = 140 days
AOR (EP number) --> Medical Request = 7 days
Medical Request --> ECAS Meds Received = 13 days
ECAS Meds Received --> Document Reminder = 61 days
True, but they're not consistent steps. What I'm hopeful for is that someone mentioned that they went In Process two weeks after they received their document reminder email, so with any luck there will be some news in August for us.
