Hello Everyone

Any new DM for anyone or any updates is CIC is working slow or not.

I am december applicant and still waiting for my DM.

In process till August and 5 lines on my ecas. Nothing updated after that.

If I should contact CIC or not. Any Suggestion

Don't know what CIC is upto. I think it depends on case officer. Because they cleared some of late december files for DM. But some of even november applicants waiting for DM. Well, i'm 18 december applicant and its been more than 2 months now still status is in process. Hope to get DM may be next month.

Waiting in the same boat as a few others. Dec 29 applicant, IP since Sep 12.. still waiting for DM. Got GCMS notes today and it says all things complete with a personal note from one of the case officers. Dunno what CIC is waiting for!!

I am Nov 20 and just saw IP last week. Only two lines shown on my file. My GCMS notes dont show everything completed. I think my file is still pending decision regarding my daughter's name removal from application as she is Canadian Citizen.

Yay return tracker for passport has been activated Oct 27 at 18.30. Passport sent on Oct 14 and arrived in Ottawa on the 16th.

Has anyone applied for Work Permit Extension and worked under implied status while waiting for a response from CIC?
My work permit is expiring next month. My CIC status is "in process" from August 20th.
My question is, would I be able to get a refund on my work permit extension fee if I get DM or PPR before CIC extends my work permit?

Some provincial nominees got 2 year work permit while I only got 1 year.... and because of the election CIC is working really slow I am running out of time.

How long was your PGWP?

Mine expires before yours but we are in a same boat....
Work Permit extension is another couple hundred dollars so I am going to wait until few days before expiration
CIC is really testing our patience

I went to border Oct 28, 2015.

took me 20 min at the border office.
