You're welcome, Druce.. I see your point there but I don't think that would matter coz the decision would have already be made by then by CIC. Once you were requested for your passport (for PR Visa Stamping) during which you will also be receiving your CoPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residency), I believe that's your happy ending right there.. You don't have to worry about when your medicals would be expiring after that.. I hope that makes sense

I understand that once you have PR Visa it is great but how I understand it, is you still need to enter and "land" in Canada before your medicals expire, which is one year after you have taken the medicals. I am I correct about this or can someone please correct me on this?
@mohona: for inland applicants, it is taking 4-6 months for DM after medicals. Not sure about the outland applicants, someone with outland experience may guide better.
@Cdrocks89 and NAVY17: I am running parallel to you with 10-20 days lag in each step. Submitted application on Dec 29 and got IP on Sep 12. I guess there are a few others who have similar time lines and are waiting for the DM. So, I guess we should be fine

No DM and no PPR. I am really worry. :-[ :-[ What is going on with the CIC??? it is a big PAUSE in the process right now for almost 3 weeks. I want to change my job and I am just waiting for PPR and landing.
As far as I know, PNP cap is different than federal cap and when you received the nominee letter from your province it means that there is still room in the cap for that province and that category. Province should not issue any nominee letter if the cap is reached for that year. So, this is not the reason.
Election in Canada might be the reason for a small pause. But why do they transferred most of the files to Ottawa????

The only way to know what's going on is to call CIC agent.
They are not going to tell you what's going with your case, unless 15 months are gone, but sometimes they may give a comment about current overall situation.

Actually i received mail just before real rain starts anyways congrats to you and yup waiting time is over, infact i was thinking to give my documents by hand to the visa officer as i am reside in ottawa (JOKE)
Wait if finally over for me. Very blessed to be in this batch of PPR. Yes I got PPR. Oct 16th applicant, DM on Sept 17th ( 5 weeks of DM). Light indeed at the end of the tunnel
