AOR on Apr 5th, 2019. I don't think there's any particular reason why it's taking so long, or at least I couldn't found any from the GCMS notes. It just seems like my application had gone into oblivion, and was later picked up again when I sent them renewed passport copies in June. Eligibility, medicals and criminality were changed to pass right before I requested a GCMS notes in mid-July. Security wasn't started according to the notes.

I read someone's story on Quora whose application took about 2 years plus. Turned out she didn't submit the cic standard employment reference, because she couldn't get her previous employers to give her an official reference. CIC didn't bother her, nor process her application. They weren't even telling her anything in her web form enquiries, until she order GCMS notes. Long story short, she got it fixed eventually. And shortly after, CIC sent her an update to redo her medicals. Then PPR followed.
As per myimmitracker website, PNP Outland has a huge backlog. Looks like it is going to take a very long time.
In comparison, FSW Outland are processing faster.

Not sure. My old passport isn't expiring until this December, I just decided to renew it earlier to avoid passport application delays due to Covid-19. Anyways, thanks for your kind words.

I have received PR Card confirmation in dec 2019,i had paid also for it.but after this due to lockdown my case was stuck in between now i am worried whether i wil get PR or not.its being 9 months now..can you me when canada will start giving PR visa.
