Pnp nomination validity and EE

Hi,
Can anyone help me on this doubt i have-
If pnp nomination expires and EE application is still in progress then the EE crs still remain valid with additional 600 points? Is there a rule that visa should be granted before pnp expires?

It doesn't matter if it expires when the application is in progress. It should not expire before the application is submitted.
