Recently I got a BC PNP nomination to apply on paper and a work permit support letter that says: "LMIA-exempt work permit pursuant to Annex A: Provincial Nominees of the Canada-British Columbia Immigration Agreement and under R204" and "LMIA exemption code T13, found under the section titled “Foreign workers nominated by a province or territory”."
This means that I have to apply for LMIA or that my employer has to post the offer or not? Or that I can just apply for a new work permit? So sorry maybe these are stupid questions but honestly I'm super lost with this and any kind of help on how to extend my work permit (it's an open one that will expire in July 2020) would be awesome.
I'm a bit lost, I though that with the nomination you can get the 600 points to apply Express Entry, but I'm searching everywhere and I can't find how to do that.
Congratulations on your nomination! It seems that you are directed towards paper based for your PR application. When you apply for for work permit extension you don't need LMIA however, your employer must pay the compliance fee ($240). You will need the receipt (plus the number) to be included in your work permit application.
I believed it was clearly stated in your nomination that you can only apply through paper and not through express entry.
Thanks!
Yes it was stated that I can only apply through paper. I was worry about the work permit tho, I will let my bosses know so we can start that ASAP.

Hi! I applied online on FEB 12th, I have my biometrics requested that same day so until I give them there's no updates. I have my appointment this coming Monday, tho.
When i checked on the IRCC website, this is the processing time i see,
I think you may have to wait for another 1 month depending upon the volume of applications IRCC process,
If paper based application then my suggestion and most easiest way for a new extension of work permit (or) obtaining a new work permit from IRCC is by preparing your paper application by checklist and goto nearest border (flag poling) or at airport when you arrive you can explain to the officer and they will guide you to a room where you can get a new permit.

I would recommend you to patiently wait, since you already sent your application to IRCC and is on process.
If IRCC needs any other documents from you they will contact you or send you a letter mail.

Hi
What's the status of your Work Permit application. Did you receive your work permit yet? I am in similar situations.
Kindly let me know your timeline.
Hi!
I received the approval letter on May 1st, but I still haven't gotten the Work Permit per se. They said I will receive it within 6 weeks so I'm just waiting.
Applied: FEB 12th
Biometrics: MAR 9th
Approved: APR 30th.
