It's so baffling when you try to understand the way CIC operates and yet you cannot make any sense out of it. Some people who got DM yesterday and today are already receiving PPR and yet some that got it last week and the week before still haven't received anything. Almighty CIC!
Today May 27, 2015 makes it exactly 15 months since my application was submitted to CIC office in Sydney, NS. If I was told my application would take more than a year to process I would strongly disagree and I believe some of you would disagree too if told the same. With 15 months gone, am just one step away from ending this long wait. May God help us all!

For me, It's been 16.5 months and my application is still being processed. It seems background check is really like a black hole that nobody knows how long they will take to finish their works.

I feel your pain buddy. Even though I got decision made on my application since 13 May/2015, I'm still not sure when to expect PPR email. I guess its another waiting game that is about to kick in. I've seen people getting PPR same day as DM or at most 7 days after DM but mine is 2 weeks after DM but still no PPR. God help us all!
Thanks Tina, sorry about the news you received today. My advice. contact the MP ASAP. Search on google the MP that serves your area, go there and ask for help. It's free.
I really don't know, Axmcol18. I did a little bit of research by going through other threads in order to understand how long it took other applicants to get PPR after DM. I realised it took an average of 7 days to receive PPR email after DM. They were mostly in the range of 3 to 7 days apart, but very few were between 1 to 2 weeks. From what I understand after speaking with the call center agent yesterday, my application was approved on 13th of May but I did not know until 21st of May. So if my application was approved on May 13 plus going by the results of my findings, I ought to have received PPR by now. This again shows that CIC is never predictable :

I am also nov2013 applicant and turned In process Feb 2015. Just this month i received medical re-assessment for my family and finished last monday.
