Today got reply from Ottawa about my case

Dear Sir/Madam
Our office confirms that your application is being processed as per our regulatory timeline.
Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.
We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within 6 months as this could delay your application.
We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.

yes they did ask for a new schedule A form and police clearance. I already sent both, the schedule A was received at the end of July and the police clearance was received at the end of august by the same person (Dan Lewis) but last week they sent me a second request asking for the police clearance so I sent them a letter through fax explaining that I already have sent all the documents and I also added the tracking numbers and stated the dates that the documents were received and the person who received them. Haven't heard from them yet.

Actually I sent twice. One 3 days and one 2 days ago. Got response on one which was sent 2 days ago.

I read somewhere that some cases are being processed in Sydney and some others (Most) are being processed in Ottawa. Mine is gonna stay in Sydney apparently
