Does DM gives you a status or you still should apply for a BOWP before you actually get PR upon Landing?
MY current work permit is about to expire, hopefully I should get a DM before that.

Please advise!!

I am a Dec 2nd applicant (SINP). Due to some docs that they requested again, my application got delayed.It is still not in IP. I was hoping it will get into IP today.Nonetheless I should get DM before 11 Aug, that's when my wp expires.Although I have already considered applying for BOWP, just out of curiosity I wanted to know what If I get DM in a few days, would it give me a status?

DM won't give u any status. U need to have valid status before getting PR. I would suggest u to apply for BOWP if ur wp is expired on August 11.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, I would apply for it tomorrow online. would give me implied status.
