Hey Amxcol18 at least you know that you have an officer assigned as you were requested the documents. I have no idea if my file is opened or just sitting in some pile. Hoping for some change soon.

No, mine is also CPC Ottawa. I have no idea about how long to get ME from Hong Kong.

They don't have an specific time to update the system, I got the email requesting documents at 4:34 am last Monday lol.. I think it's randomly.

Also I'm more relaxed now, I called cic regarding the email and they told me that I don't have to worry about it now because I submitted it before and now that they have requested it, I just had to answer with the tracking number and they'll attach it to my file.

No they won't because our cases are part of the economic class and they don't have access to these files. That's what they told me when I called, so they suggested to send an email, It's that only way we can contact Sydney.

I emailed ottawa about the status of my application but i guess they will reply back in 15-20 days. Hopefully by that time my app. gets in processing. Fingers crossed.

I just received email from CPP Ottawa office..............I sent email on 30 June regarding my RCMP (received reply after 12 days)
{The documents have been received at the CIO Sydney office. They will be transferring these documents to the office here in Ottawa, as we currently have your file here for processing.}
