I have sent my RCMP fingerprint certificate to CIO Sydney.It is received on June 1 by your receiving associate in CIO SYDNEY
How should we consider our timeline for the file to be in process, from the day application received or from the day medical received. It means we can count the number of months or days from the day application received correct me if i am wrong. Because i came to know that it takes 6-7 months to get in process but not sure from when to count 6-7 months, the day app received or day medical received.

I found another Patwal on this forum somewhere and was happy thinking if Patwal got IP we will too. ONlY to quickly realize that it is different Patwal with different time line and screen name. ;D ;D
Im just curious if anybody of you here gathered all your police certs first and submitted those docs with your application? I did that,thinking it would make a huge difference in the processing time. And even paid the RPRF too. I didnt wait for CIC to ask for that. If I have only known, I could have submitted my application in October 2013. Until now, my application havent even turned to "IP". This sucks! Well just sharing my disappointment...

I did exactly same thing hoping for exactly same thing. Little did i know. Still waiting. My file was received by CIC in Feb. and medical have been received as well. but after that no communication from CIC in email or ECAS. Basically no news since March. No request for additional documents or anything. How about You?? did you receive any additional document request in between?

I was not asked to submit more docs (which is good).but last month, they want a scanned copy of my passport. So far, that's what they ask from me. I'm at this point where I get a little worried because my work permit will expire this coming November and my ecas still havent freaking changed to "IP".

I hear ya buddy. Just curious are you by any chance from a visa exempt country? If you are from a visa exempt country, i think they request copy of passport instead of passport
