I found out yesterday they sent me a COPR (visa exempt country) back in October 2014 at the wrong address. I had recently moved to another apartment but had changed my address with CIC late September before they had made a decision.
Anyway, my file is back to in process to issue and send another COPR
Let's hope I make it in time- April 14 my work permit expires
Need advise please. I am November 2013 applicant still waiting my PPR.
My immigration consultant called CIC last January asking the status of my application, and the agent said that she should call Manila Visa office as they have my papers and when she called Manila office they said they will give update after 28days. Then, last week Manila office emailed us that my papers are in process and they are now in Sydney. What does it mean of sending my application from one visa office to another?
hello I have same situation DM 31 October 2014 and I did not hear anythings yet and i called to cic 2 weeks ago and agent told me ur file in process and wait until end of March if you don't get anything till then call us again and I think they sending COPR through e-mail address not mailing add I am little bit confuse about that.but I hopefully everything's gonna be alright thanks

Hello Thakor! It's nice to know that atleast even it took them a long time still at the end of the line you got your PPR.
You just gave me hope! Because CIO received my application Dec.09, 2013 yet havent heard from them still. But i am glad that atleast i should not worry that they have forgotten me, maybe it's because there might have been so much applications received last 2013....

I believe you are SINP applicant too, i am too , applied in nov ,hvnt got PPR yet. my work permit expires in july , i was wondering do we need any support letter from SINP to apply for BOWP .

Hi if you had your medical already that would be one of the attachmnt they will require... They're not asking a letter... Thats just in my case though...

i hv had my medicals since december 2013 , so tht means the expired SINP certificate shd be goo d n don't need no support letter like some other pfovinces, did u have to apply for BOWP too??

If you wont mind, when did you apply for PR at CIO? In my case when i applied last year the only thing that i attached was the nomination cert and medical. Now my Open Permit will expire this June i did create an application online and the things they asked me to submit are: picture, passport, medical and travel itinerary (which i dont understand why do i need a travel itinerary)
Payment would be $155 (open permit) + $100(addtl cost for an open permit holder)

I did the same processing like last year for my open permit application. The medical they require is the copy if uour medical when you had your request for medical for PR. Unless there's another way that i dont know.... But just incase let me know if im wrong. Thanks
