Just received an email from CPC-Ottawa asking for a new schedule A and a renewed passport for my spouse because it expires in five months.

what is the status of your application on ecas? is it "in process" or "application received" ?

Bukyder, I'm gonna include the bio data form as my passport does not say my height or eye color.
If CIC doesn't need it, they can just throw it away, but i don't wanna risk having to send it again.

I'm gonna call them on Monday before I mail out my passport though just to confirm that I am not doing anything wrong.
I'll let you guys know what they say!

Hey guys, so I phoned CIC this morning and the agent told me that each visa office has their own requirements as to what documents we need to send with our passport, so we can just send whatever they requested on the email. She also said that if we are going to send photos, it should be 35mmX45mm, not passport sized ones.

Oh I forgot to mention, the agent said we can refer to the Appendix A of the application guide for the photo spec (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EP7TOC.asp#appendixA), or the below link posted by Netblizz183 (thank you!), which is basically the same info with more details.

Thanks. We eventually decided to submit our passports without the photos and bio-data forms because they didn't specify those docs on the email that I received.

With the exception of Police Certificates, please submit all other requested documents as scanned attachments and send to the following e-mail address:

I want to go for wedding to Regina after landing. Can i go while waiting for PR card. I am not sure if we can go or not as we cannot travel outside canada. Is this applies to in canada too
