Guys, a bit of logic...

Your photos used for PR card, mean you need PR size. As simple as it is.

You might be right, but I was told that if you send passport size photos, all they do is cut them into the size they want. It is entirely your decision what you want to go with.

It's a big organization and they know exact what can do. This is official documents. don't follow any person say any words.

I am gonna send both sets oh photos, I guess. CIC call center agent said that he assumes it is Canadian passport size pictures, but he is not sure because he is not from Ottawa

Hey guys, I just sent my passport today and the size of my photo is 35x45mm.
I asked the photographer and he said that this is the correct size for a permanent residence card,
not the Canadian passport size because it is big. He knows it because he'd been doing it a lot of times
for the past applicants who went his store to have a photo.

hey guys.. congrats to all who have their ppr..

its me here.. I applied dec 23. got ip aug 22. sept 5 yhey ask for my husband all copy of passport and last date entry to canada. hes was here since july 10, I applied him tru spousal open work permit last oct 2013. so it means his medical is going to expire soon..on oct 18, 2014 his medical will expired. I got an email again today... but not on the email I provided cic when I appplied but on my old email when I was applying for return work visa.. they have iy on their file goood thing I opened it coz this is where they submitted my file number before.. my husband was request for medical re-assestment.

Cic will ask for a your copy of passport, 2 photographs along with a self addressed envelope. cic will then issue COPR and post it back to you in the envelope provided.
