i am doing all things by myself,n recently received email from Scotiabank to deposit 10,200 dollars to further process gic.

i saw somewhere in this forum that PAN card is necessary for wire transfer ,is it true....

actually govt bank ask for pan card but u can choose other private bank like hdfc ICICI etc
my suggestion u opt canara or obc bank because they no ask for pan

i only have an account in punjab national bank.so pan card will be required?

yes u need pan for PNB bank. my suggestion u open account in canara or obc bank because these banks are cheaper compared to other banks
and where are you from ?
