i am doing all things by myself,n recently received email from Scotiabank to deposit 10,200 dollars to further process gic.

i saw somewhere in this forum that PAN card is necessary for wire transfer ,is it true....

Hi Nidhi ,

In India, you can't make any transaction more than 50000 without PAN . Now , what you can do is , you can transfer the money from your parents account . And there will be no problem at all.

Hope that helps :)

no pan card is not necessary for international wire transfer , it is only necessary for depositing cash more than 50000.

No need for PAN Card, just ask your bank in India to transfer the money to Scotia Bank
