Plz Help! A doubt regarding Passport Application Status

Hi all,



Recently I applied for student visa (in General) and the application status from canadian website showing that it received on 11/30/2011 at New Delhi.

My question:
Will the website application tracker show application rejection or approved status once it is done?
How long it make take to get the visa from now?

the tracker will only show the status of the application i.e received by CHC , dispatched back to VFS/recipient etc . So in short, you would not know if it is approved/rejected until you lay hand on the passport

While applying under the SSP category it takes 15 working days while General could take 2-3 months or even less .

I have read ssp category and general category.
I am interested in applying for Canadian student visa...
Kindly let me know the difference between the two...ssp and general category.
